David Key is that very definition of success and spirit.
It all started in athletics for Key, using his mind to push the boundaries of will and body agility. He played as the starting quarterback in both high school and college. And those quarterback – leadership skills pushed and directed his entrepreneurial dreams. He graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on computer digital circuitry.
At Southern Tech, David was the school’s student government president and was voted in as the Vice Chairman of the Student Advisory Council for all 34 colleges in the University System of the State of Georgia, where he represented the students from all these colleges at the state’s Board of Regency. As means of paying for his college during the mid-1980’s, Key kick-boxed at various national martial art matches earning him a second place medal at the Battle of Atlanta, a state championship title in North Carolina’s state championship held in Charleston.
